Went to Mystique on 7th ave a few nights ago. I use to ask for Holly, a hot blonde who worked there but now she’s gone. Seems like that place has a higher then normal turnover rate.

Anyway, I was having some convo with some chick (I forget her name) while see was massaging me and she explained they got some warning bell in the office that they press in case the pigs show up. It can be heard from the rooms and everyone gets dressed ASAP.

She also told me that they have a gun in the office for protection. Now that’s fucked up. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I thought it was illegal to use firearms for self defense in Canada. If there was trouble from a room and the receptionist came in shooting chances are she’d shoot the SP too. Even worse is the receptionist might leave the safety on and start struggling with it and by that time the perp would grab the gun and shoot her.

I think it’s a bad situation if it’s true and they should get rid of the damn thing. Keep a pit bull in the back for protection.

To use a gun for self defence here, you have to be in danger of grievous harm or your life. Even then you'll get more than a brief investigation. You can't just have it laying around either. I thought the cops pretty much left those places alone, unless there was a specific complaint. I used to have a pitbull, but it was too fucking psycho. You're probably right about a dog in general though.

I agree about the safety issue of having a gun around for an untrained person to use???? Just plain dumb. However, a couple of ladies dropping such hints, word gets around, and now everyone who reads this board is aware that there MAY BE a gun for self-protection at Mystique. If you were a scumbag with intentions to harm, scare or intimidate an innocent provider, perhaps you'd passover Mystique in favor of some other business. (hopefully one with a dozen large viscious dogs in the back ) Just a thought ...
