Multiple names and agencies?

I’ve always wondered why some girls are known as different names across many different agencies. Sometimes all at the same time. What’s the benefit of doing that? Is it one organization with multiple agency brands? Sorry if this question is naive. Really curious as to what’s happening.

Establishments generally want one of each name at any given time (not two Bethany’s working at the same location) and tend to stay away from ladies using a fake name that is the real name of others working there. Someone else working may already be using that name or called that IRL.

The Asian rebooking sites get a commission, so from original agency, some girls have agents, who post the girls on multiple sites.
When the name change? My guess is to confuse people, make it seem like "sweetheart" is new, and book with them vs booking "Candy" directly from XDS, who is actually paying the rent on the incall.
I book directly with who owns the property.

I found this to be even worse in London (UK)

At first glance there are dozens of agencies and each have a vast number of girls on their roster. You get the idea that there must be hundreds and hundreds of agency escorts in the city. Then you realise that most girls are listed with several agencies, and some of them seem to be on every agency you look at, all under different names. It’s confusing as hell, and makes finding a reliable review of someone almost impossible.

Is it to give the illusion of more choices? or is it to help sub par girls slip under the radar somehow?

I always found it to be odd.
