Just a quick question, does anyone know how the parlour and the massagist split the income? I'm assuming the parlour keeps the room fee, but how about the tip, do the ladies have to pay out of that too?
Am I reading this right? The girls get paid 5 to 10 bucks PER SESSION????It used to be you got paid 5-10$ at EB/TO when you got a session.
I really hope so....Well, she wrote the $ sign after that which I'm guessing means x10, so 50 - 100 per session.
So I'm assuming the masseuses keep everything they make in the room as a tip and the house keeps the room fee. I was just curious if the house also demanded some of our tips.

What. The. Fuck???
You girls are hot.You are actually both right. Ten years ago when I began working at EB (I no longer work there) there was a a few months that ladies were making small comission fees per session. I don't thing it was ever exceeding $5 although I might be wrong. However, this fee was only paid as a cheque and only once monthly. I was very busy their as a new girl and can tell you these checks certainly werent the best for T4 and tax purposes.
After that 2 months they changed the system and the ladies were expected to pay session fees of 20 dollars per session which was collected by desk staff and approved by your signature, and you were given a check every two weeks of the collected sessions in that pay period minus taxes. This was made to look that minimum wage was paid to the attendents and if you were busy was good for claiming your taxes.
I'm not sure if it's true but rumours would have it that a girl who was fired (wouldn't surprise me if many did this) kicked up a fuss and reported this to agencies and labour board without thinking of all the lives of the many woman who are employed there. It is my understanding that because of this the ladies are now deemed self employed and are in fact paying the desk a small room fee per session and not recieving any sort os checks. This likely makes doing their taxes very difficult. I imagine this could have been changed due to the buisness being audited by revenue canada and they are keeping track of these ladies sessions for that reason. I see no other purpose behind them changing things in a way that makes the ladies have more complications at tax time.
If I have made a mistake in my assumption of the reasoning behind this I do apologize. The rest of the information is all experienced by myself over the years I was employed at EB and TO. Hope this answers your question. xo
