My brother just used Action Movers last month. I was there to help. They were a laid back crew, but they worked very hard. To the point that I started to feel bad for them sweating so hard. My brother had quite a few awkward and heavy pieces and they didn't complain once.
They were quick and relatively cheap...so much so, that my brother actually gave them a hefty tip and some beer for doing so well with his crap.
This was a move from Downtown Vancouver to North Vancouver. Took about 4 hours or so, if I recall.

I made my last move with them. They are awesome. Showed up promptly.
Courteous & respectful. Nothing broke. Efficient & hard working. What more
can a girl ask for?
They advertise only on Craigslist. If you scroll down the lists of movers, you
will find their ad and read their reviews.

Ive used these guys on my last 2 moves and have nothing bad to say about them at all! They do a good job for a good price...not easy to find these days.
If you are interested in trying them after you look at their website...PM me and Ill give you my name(last time I used them they said they`d give anyone I recommended to them a better deal) They`ll also give you a better deal if you pay cash!

I used St Georges and really liked them. However I have been told by a coworker they were lousy. My feeling is that it just depends on which crew you get. I think a number of the movers just hire whoever they get for a job or for a weekend and so it is the luck of the draw.
