I followed the Expos from day one........
For sure I miss them.......when I lived in TO I followed the Jays and still do.

Was my team from when I first played scrub in the early 70s and then into Little League right through to their move to DC.

A memory, like it was yesterday, in 1969 as a kid, watched the Expos play a preseason game against the PCL Vancouver Mounties at Capilano Stadium, now Nat Bailey. Le Grand Orange Rusty Staub, Coco Laboy, Big Mack Jones, they wore their classic road blues. Under the lights their unis just shone. Slugger Mack Jones hit one over centre field that still hasn’t come down....I’ve loved them ever since :clap2:

Mixed memories. Loved watching them in the mid 90s. Had some great players from Pedro Martinez, Larry Walker, Tim Raines, Delino DeShields, John Wetteland. Towards the end when Olympic Stadium was falling apart and they were getting turnouts of under 5,000 people, it looked embarrassing. Former Catcher Mike Piazza said that once he was playing a game and it was so quiet he could hear the conversations of the fans sitting in the front row behind home plate.
