Oh YA!!!!...I went to that a few years ago and let me tell you.....it was a blast!!!! MY ex girlfriend's dad had a trailor so I was lucky to have a shower and all.....at that time of the month up there...it's boiling.
The heat didn't bother me so much....what did was the dust....alot of it too...it's in a huge open grass/dirt field up on the hills from Merrit. Don't know if it's dusty like that all the time at that time of year but man....when i was there.....gross....THANK GOD FOR THE SHOWER!! People that didn't have shower access were....CHECK THIS OUT....were bathing in a creek to cool off and dust off!! I don't know if they change the set up of everything every year......in terms of where the stage is or the beer gardens.are set up.......but when i went...there's a creek off from behind the Beer gardens. People went in the creek..At night it was awesome....weather was cooling off...nice... people doing there own thing with there groups etc...and by the way....a wide range of people go to this ....anyone from young to old....Bikers you name....people were very friendly up there and very easy to meet....We were in the Beer gardens most of the times partying it up....I do like the new country style music of today.
Also...people that didn't have trailors and were staying more than one night...had tents set up from what I saw..
but I'll tell you this....if your single.....you got it made up there!!!!
The women were gorgeous!!!! EVERYWHERE!!!! BE PREPARED!! ..That's pretty well about it.....you mingle....drink ( if you do that is ) ....you BBQ...relax....watch bands........it's a party....I urge you to get a few people and go....you'll have a blast.....I did!!!

I think that Merritt was once rated THE #1 place in North America to get fucked. It is a super party...very easy to meet women...all ages, all sizes, ALL marital status'....what heppens in Merritt...stays in Merritt. (like clients wive's up there for the weekend with their girlfreinds, wink wink)

It IS really dusty in the hot weather, but what a LOT of people do NOT know it that if it rains..you are going to get very fucking muddy. Most people camp in fields (cow pastures) that have lots of very dry dust and cow shit. When it rains....that 3 inches of dust and shit mixture turns to greased lightning. I have personally seen young cowboys who think are so fucking cool with their huge 4x4's, get super stuck on that wet slimy shit and actually slide into parked cars (most of it is hilly) pissing off everyone. Last time I went..I actually took snow chains..it DID rain. and I put em on and drove around all those assholes.

Merritt IS a blast though... but remember.....DO NOT GO if you in anyway, offended by young, hot scantilly clad women in bikini tops and cowboy hats.
