Interested to see your guys reaction to this video. Although it's tough to admit Victor Malarek makes some very good points, that I believe are absolutely correct. A video like this definitely makes you think twice, especially when dealing with 'immigrated woman' and traveling overseas for sex.

It is hard to believe that the only comments posted all seem to support the book/POV.

I enjoyed reading this one though:

YES!!!!! Men are to be held accountable for prostitution!! If there were no market where would the prostitutes be. True, their drug habits and quick monitary gain for through protitution is probably the main objective. But...men would have to address their real problems in their relationships. Also, protitues are costing us money...females do get pregnant, unwanted/unexpected children are born. I have heard they have the kids - collect the child tax credit, welfare supplement for x number of kids but never are raising them. Could our system be so lax to allow this? Could this rumor be true?

Another good one was the one that starts "prostitution (in Canada) is illegal, right?" Now, why do you think Malarek or the interview don't make it clear that it is legal in Canada? But the commenter I refer to then went on to complain about all the mps in Ontario lol.

I normally like Malek's work, but his comment "if you're so desperate for sex, go to the trusty old right hand - and if you want something exotic, go to the left."

Gimme a break.

Pretty simplistic, and awfully arrogant.

I believe there is a human trafficking, pimping, child sex problem especially in other countries (?).

I like what I do though, and cum in my face - that is hot! ;)

Very true. And countries must do everything possible to stop it.

The problem is, Malarek insists there's no difference between those girls and YOU. Or ClassyAngel. Or BobbiInVic.

Which is ridiculous.

Typical politically correct modern narrative... it's all men's fault.

He seems to think he speaks for all men, or at least all men who may have visited a prostitute. He says it's all about control.. bullshit. Sometimes sex is just sex.

Yes, there are terrible places in the Philippines, Thailand etc. where women are forced into prostitution. But most of the women I've known and seen in the business in Canada are not coereced. This guy is just a zealot.

What he and his kind don't realize is that suppressing prostitution and trying to make it illegal is what exposes women to more danger by driving things underground.

I don't have much time for people that think getting a blowjob is violence. I think people like that are sick in the head.

And I hate how they lump in the scat, heavy degradation stuff as if everybody that buys sex is doing that... or... confusing the issue with child exploitation which is a completely different situation.

Besides, it's ridiculous to think that you can stamp out prostitution anyway. All it takes is a young girl, a guy with a hardon and a couple of bucks. I will enjoy my next 'illicit blowjob' even more after seeing this. What a sanctimonious asshole.

Exploitation of women does exist and has since the beginning of time.

I agree with developing a healthy sexual attitude with our sons, the same should be said for our daughters. Certainly not all, but many women use the sexually to control men.

The first line of attack to reduce this lies in reducing poverty and treating drug addiction as a medical issue rather than a criminal issue.

you are so right!!!

the article is not based in reality, there was no ethical review and the truth is that it is NOT like that here in canada. the incidents of trafficking is very low. these people are just trying to make money at all of our expense.

Zoe from GAATW (Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women, based in Bangkok) met with City officials in Feb to discuss trafficking and 2010.

"The meeting involved Annalee and Shauna from GAATW Canada, and Mayor Gregor Robertson, City Manager Penny Ballem, Councillor Geoff Meggs, Councillor Tim Stevenson, and City Council Director of Operations & Public Affairs Brent Humphery.

The main outcome was that the City Office was very supportive of our stand (that trafficking is not proven to increase during international sporting events, that the ‘hysteria’ around this is misleading and inaccurate, and that if governments are going to focus on trafficking during this time they need to consult affected or vulnerable communities to see how they can improve the safety of these people). Penny Ballem said that she had recently spoken to Van Police who echoed our sentiments – that it is unlikely for trafficking to increase during the 2010 Olympics – and they have agreed there will be no raids or crackdowns on sex workers during this time. This was great to hear, and I hope we can hold them to this statement … perhaps Vancouver can even be a ‘best practice’ for Olympics & trafficking

He needs to get laid!

Lame book! THe writer seems to be full of anger that men pay for sex all around the world...big deal...deal with it! His little book isn't going to change anything and he is getting all pissed off on video just to try to sell more books! The guy is scum bucket and probably too wimpy to nail a hottie!

Yes, a small % of the women are exploited, but also, many are making a living from it, with few other options that can provide the same level of income. This asshole just points out the negative...probably a closet fag IMO!

I can understand where he gets the idea that it is a power move over a woman, considered humiliating....whatever, but truth is, due to our HUGE porn industry, it's become something to seek for men. Not to humiliate a woman, or exert his male power over her, but because he gets to act out something he's seen done in porn over and over again.

If society wasn't exposed to pornography, or sex in general as it is today, sexual acts in themselves would be something completely different than what they are today.
In Roman times as well as in the Kama Sutra, every sex act imaginable was performed then documented. Long before the days of mainstream porn
