I am surprised that not a single PERBite has raised this issue arising from last night's digusting exhibition by this arsewipe.

And boy, did he show his uneducated and classless attitude in the brief post-fight interview with the HBO 60-year-old PLUS interviewer. I am positive the Mayweather camp is riddled with embarassment.

Straight up: I have never respected this toad. And when he parades his (apparent) three children aged between four and seven I'd guess, when he arrived at the fight site, I cynically thought "he's attempting to show he is a family man kind of and the kids might soften the prevailing opinion of this trashbin."

Apart from his apparent strategy to avoid Pacquiano until the PacMan slides further down the rungs of the age ladder so as to increase dirtbag's chances of defeating PacMan, I would abhor the sight of this piece of trash actually defeating PacMan. So I kinda hope PacMan simply says he'd be too ashamed to share the ring with this sad, sad imitation of a man.

There, that's off my chest. What's your spin?

Yah, it was a crap shot and I am still a little disgusted about Mayweather's ability to be a sporting man.

On the other hand, Mayweather probably would have won the fight in the end. I don't dispute the result, just the way he got it.

two things: #1 no one is commenting because less and less folks are buying these over hyped, under performing boxing pay per veiws
#2 Do not buy into the media hype about waiting for Pac man to get old. Mayweather is almost 2 years older than him. This fight will not happen until Mayweather loses. He more than anything wants to be undefeated. The second that he is no longer undefeated he will sign to fight Pacquiao. Mayweather is hoping that Pacman will retire, he doesn't want to fight him.

I saw the fight and it looked like Ortiz intentionally headbutted him. Ortiz in the post interview said it was an accident. Didn't look like one to me.

When Ortiz and Mayweather came together after the headbutt in the ring to make up, Mayweather hit him with 2 clean punches. Why didn't Ortiz react and protect himself after the first punch? Ortiz didn't even seem that upset after he lost the fight.

Anyone think the fix was in here?

Found it funny how mayweather was to chicken to fight pac-man so he came out with the steroids testing bs. If the money is right he'll fight pacman. If not then he'll go into his 1 1/2 year retirement till there's a easy opponent and easy 25-30 mill.

All this stuff is staged .. Yes they actually beat each others brains out , they get hurt and very badly injured .. It is all about tolerance how much are they willing to go through to make the big money , get their 15 min or hour of fame ... It is just so much scripting and promotion they are still playing to the WWF generation ... I might catch a fight her and ther eat the pub But i can't take it as a honest sport .. in fact few sports are to day To many people make money on it all.

When you look at the Rocky movies I think the message that Stallion was trying to say gets lost .. he was never hyping fighters and boxing .. He only candy coated the reality

That's a very ignorant statement, so if you don't know what you're talking about, best to simply be quite about it.

I've been watching boxing all my life and I can give you names of those who got beat up so badly they don't know who or where they are at the moment and sadly won't ever know again.

Gerald McClellan comes to mind, here's a snipped on Wilipedia of his "fake injury". I'm sure Al who use to be a professional boxer can enlighten you even more than I can.

================================================================================================================

After his middleweight reign, McClellan went up in weight to challenge world Super-Middleweight champion Nigel Benn in London on February 25, 1995. The fight, which is the subject of the forthcoming documentary film directed by Bobby Razak called "Fallen Soldier," [2] was watched by an estimated 17 million people on television and 10,300 paying spectators.[3]

McClellan dropped Benn, who went out of the ring in round one. They continued battling, but the fight had a devastating ending. McClellan knocked Benn down again in the eighth round but Benn was able to continue and after enduring numerous punches from Benn, McClellan slumped to one knee in round ten.[4] He took the mandatory eight count, resumed boxing, but soon dropped to his knee for a second time. He was counted out. He returned to his corner but appeared to be unable to stand and lost consciousness. McClellan briefly regained consciousness in the ambulance and ripped off his oxygen mask.

[edit] Aftermath

McClellan had emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain. He spent eleven days in a coma and after which, he was found to have suffered extensive brain damage. He lost his eyesight, the ability to walk unassisted and became 80 percent deaf. Sports Illustrated ran an article about the fight and its outcome one week after the fight. McClellan's family flew to be by his side, and later he was flown back to his home country. He has recently recovered some ability to walk, being helped by a cane, but he has not recovered his eyesight. In addition to being blind and almost deaf, his short-term memory was also profoundly affected. His three sisters, particularly Lisa McClellan, are responsible for his care. He has been the honoree at numerous banquets and award ceremonies, and fellow boxing world champion Roy Jones Jr., often pointed as a possible rival during the 1990s (indeed, McClellan actually beat Jones as an amateur), set up a foundation to help McClellan. Nigel Benn himself has also helped to raise funds for McClellan's treatment, and the two men would meet again for the first time since their bout at a fundraiser held in London on February 24, 2007. Several items were auctioned off at the event and a total of $175,000 was raised.[

Only saw a replay of the head butt on.
Looks like Ortiz had already lost all the rounds and was getting frustrated, knew he couldnt win, and didnt care, when the fight ended.
But a fix??? How does a fight ending early like that benefit them.
If it was WWE style fixing, wouldn't a more exciting fight be better in the long run?
A shit fight like this has to hurt every PPV boxing event in the near future.

Something tells me mayweather wont ever fight pacman. He might just go with fighting easier opponents for 15-25 mill plus a cut in ppv and then retire. Why risk getting your ass kicked by pacman? I think they offered him 50 mill for pacman last time?
