Lost In Translation

[The Happy Tapper]

I just saw this movie yesterday and loved it. My favorite movie since Fargo. The role was written for Bill Murray and I can't see anyone else pulling it off but him. The camerawork was superb. It's unfortunate that it didn't win Picture Of The Year last year but that LOTR machine is hard to beat!

LOTR *was* genius

*bows down to it*

[Rowdy Rodney]

Lost in Translation was a fabulous movie and deserve more awards. True LOTR:ROTK machine was hard to beat but I LOTR:TT was the better of the three.

[BabyBelle]

I dunno.. I thoroughly enjoyed the last one in comparison.

My choice is the first one of the three, but no fall off in 2 and 3 like most trilogies.

I hear Peter Jackson wants to do the Hobbit after he finishes with King Kong if the rights can be worked out.

Along that line of thinking, will it freak you out baby belle if I start calling you "my precious, me only want to hold the precious"

Scarlett Johansson is very sexy!

She is very sexy and she was the reason for my thread a couple of weeks ago about Hollywood Starletts

Lost in Translation is a great film & agree that the role was tailor made for Bill Murray. It's too bad that there were so many good films that had to face the LOTR machine (which I'm a huge fan of, by the way) In my humble opinion, though, Mystic River was the best film of last year. I was happy to see Tim Robbins win best supporting actor because his performance was phenomenal.

I have to agree with you JC. Tim Robbins has been long overdue and it is nice to see him finally get recognition.

I too was impressed with Lost in Translation. It had a great feel to it and Sofia Coppola did a marvelous job both with the writing and directing. Anyone have an escort experience like Bob Harris - Rip my stockings?

Is it Suntory time?

[The Happy Tapper]

Scarlett Johansson wil be one of the voices in the up coming sponge bob square pants movie...

Wicked! Thanks for the heads up.

Rip my stockings?
Is it Suntory time?
