First off, I contracted Covid before arriving in Lima. It's really stupid, I have been vaccinated 5 times, with the last jab 2 months at Shoppers before I arrived in Lima. The symptoms were mild, a running nose and slight cough. Wife never caught it at all. So, I had to inform everyone. My impression of Lima, despite the lack of Spanish is very favorable. I mitigate this by saying I stayed in the Miraflores area. Parts of Lima, like Callao, should be avoided.
