Prostitution is legal in canada.....communication in a public place (soliticting etc) for the purposes of selling sexual services is a criminal offence....(s.213 of the Criminal Code)`
Procuring, s.212 of the Criminal Code (pimping) is a very serious criminal offence (spunishable for a max of 10 years in prison.....though if pimping a minor -under 18- max 14 years and minimum 5 years in the can...)
Its also illegal to keep or for that matter be found in without lawful excuse a bawdy house though penatlies not all that steep.. ..(I think s.210 of the Code).
Bottom line is that an escort working alone and not causing a disturbance or complaints at place of she is working out of will never attrack LE let alone criminal liability
