Ladies, your opinion regarding action after initial contact.

Often times when I pm, email, or call an sp it is rare, and not expected, to hear back right away. I understand the fact that some girls are busy be it the business, personal lives, etc. Now if I don't hear back, I usually give it a few days then try once more and if I still don't hear back I move on. I have to add that if I do forget to mention something the first time, I do send another quick message. So ladies, like the title says, what are your expectations?

It also depends on how the PM or email is worded.
Some ladies would not return a message that they perceive as inconsiderate - which is not necessarily the same as rude. Some would only get back to you if you write in complete sentences. This especially applies to women who are busy and selective about whom they see.
For example, if a lady states on her website she only sees "mature" and "gentlemen" she may ignore a message that says "hi! when r u free?" as the kind of client she wants to attract would put a little more consideration into initial email.

Now, if you wrote a great introductory email and still have heard nothing, then for some reason, which may or may not be valid, she is not staying on top of her communications. She may have something happening in her personal life. She may just be not so great at administrative skills - and it depends on the client how important this factor is to him.
So trying again and then moving on makes sense to me.
