The Kangam website http://kangnamlady.com/ appears to be gone so it could very well be them. I will be putting them on my do not call list

Also Don't know if anyone noticed but when I pulled up the last ad they did for Haru there was this:

Moderator's Note - Member Alert!
We regret to advise that a high probably link has been identified between members "kangnamlady" and "gratang"
It appears likely that this member has been self-shilling for the primary account "kangnamlady" and try to discredit other providers.
Post from both parties are being left intact for the present as a cautionary alert. This is a serious violation of Perb policy.
kangnam lady is a former advertiser on Perb.

This story should place to rest the belief that the Police will not be going after anybody under the new laws, just because they had been quiet has not meant they were not busy. There is high potential that it is KNL and as KNL has been considered from the beginning as well established and well reviewed providers and therefore safe to visit, this is no longer the case.

The story also gives a hint as to what to expect as a hobby participant as two clients were arrested on the premises at the time the operations took place and charged with being found in a bawdy-house. They were later released on a promise to appear. What that appears to mean is that just being there somewhere when the police show up will more than likely result in a charge of some sort.

Story has hit the CBC website as well, scary comment from the police there:

"It's not over yet — we're still doing the investigation," said Gasse. "We seized some computers and cellphones. We hope to find a list of all the victims and maybe a list of the clients."

Also recieved a PM from Kangamlady

Hey gents,

This really puts a panic-damper on my day. I generally use my regular cell phone (bad idea and lazy in hindsight) and I've communicated with both KNL and VIP in the past. Any lawyers among us or anyone with thoughts on the likelihood of getting a visit from the RCMP? I'm really worried.

Thanks guys.

Another good reason to use a different phone or an app when doing this hobby. Will you get a visit from the RCMP? more than likely not.

I think the more concerning point is that the belief many of us shared that when with either a travelling SP, local SP or at a massage parlor and as long as we we not caught in the act at the MP or we did not talk service with the SP, then we were safe. Now just being found at the location with either an SP or MP whether in the act or not will still be cause for you to be arrested, under being in a bawdy house. This is interesting because the Bawdy house law was what was challenged and resulted in the old laws being nixed and the new laws being introduced.

I think the main difference between the old and new laws is that under the old law it was illegal for an SP or MP to run or work in a Bawdy house, it is now not a crime for the SP or MP but for us as the participant it is now illegal. As an SP or MP you will not be charged under this, but if you are an agency or a Massage Parlor owner then you would be still be subject to the advertising and living off the proceeds of the activity parts of the new law.

(2) The definition “common bawdy-house” in subsection 197(1) of the Act is replaced by the following:
“common bawdy-house” means, for the practice of acts of indecency, a place that is kept or occupied or resorted to by one or more persons;

THIS DOES NOT mean that the Winnipeg Police Service is going to start kicking down doors tomorrow, so don't panic since both reported stories so far are with the trafficking of women and underage girls which has always been an area of focus and will always continue to be. We will have to wait and see if they expand beyond that scope.

I highly doubt a text or phone calls to an agency is going to be evidence enough to go out and arrest people on phone records alone.

Textnow or textplus are free and you can get minutes just watching a few videos. Easy to delete the app and easy to get a new number any time.

Making a call more than likely not, sending a text depending on what you say and some people will ask for what they want like do you offer bbbj is considered solicitation as that is asking for service :) This is more of a safety factor since you will not get arrested but do you want any risk at all if your significant other is asking why are the police here to ask a few questions or if stupid enough to use a work phone having your employer ask.

So not just shilling for their trafficked women, but trashing competition with who knows how many accounts, that's low. I will never call Kangnam.

You used your own phone and booked with them. Once they cross reference it you'll be getting a call. But unless you paid with a credit card too hard to prove you were there. Anyone can phone there it doesn't mean they went there. Unless the investigation went on for a long time and the RCMP recorded the phone calls then your fucked.
