....so yeah....kind of obvious what happened here.

So in my constant search for a legit, and willful, ATF provider here in the city I'm stuck in (thanks stupid job), I spend time texting numerous providers trying to get a sense of who they are. After filtering the red flags, most of them seem to want to lead me to the hotel strip on Roger's Way/Hugh Allan Dr..... Good hotels there, so it's easy to figure that the providers there are at least above average quality and legitimate.

...then this local story breaks out, and it's a big NOPE....

KAMLOOPS — The man under investigation by Manitoba RCMP, who was arrested in Kamloops Monday (June 20) evening, has been charged with human trafficking.

In a news release issued Thursday (June 23) morning, Manitoba RCMP say 26-year-old Jean Francois D’Asti-Brideau of Laval, Que. had a female passenger – who was a victim of human trafficking and being transported from Quebec – in his vehicle when he was arrested during a traffic stop in Aberdeen. Kamloops RCMP say there was a heavy police presence in the 1100-block of Rogers Way at around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Sgt. Morgan Page of Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Service says human trafficking is the recruitment, harbouring and transporting of victims.

“This is the type of crime that is not always easy to see,” Sgt. Page says. “In this instance, an RCMP officer with our Central Traffic Services unit was aware of what to look for and saw signs that this couple were not what they appeared to be and called us in. This was a great heads up move by that officer, and we were able to liaise with police agencies in other provinces to further this investigation.”

In January 2021, RCMP in Headingley, Manitoba arrested D’Asti-Brideau following an alleged physical altercation with police after they received a call for an erratic driver. RCMP say D’Asti-Brideau had numerous arrest warrants from Ontario and Quebec. Police say multiple weapons were found when they searched the vehicle.

Following his arrest in Kamloops, Manitoba RCMP say D’Asti-Brideau has been charged with trafficking in persons, possession of material benefitting from sexual services, and procuring to provide sexual services. D’Asti-Brideau remains in custody and has been transported to Winnipeg. The investigation is ongoing.

...

Kamloops is a dead scene to me now. Bad enough sifting through junkie and/or burnt out jaded providers on three major skid row venues. Now the only one "clean" venue is about human trafficking....not cool.

The obvious is the officer who spotted this Pimp and his passenger profiled him and it panned out to being a successful arrest. Which is fine by me, as I have zero remorse and a whole lot of disdain for low life Pimps.
There's no need to throw shade and paranoia towards the "clean" venue which serves home to many touring providers, such as myself. I would also like to add that the client base in Kamloops doesn't have a great reputation
and I can empathize with touring providers not wanting to visit the interior. My upcoming visit will be a make, or break it in deciding to keep Kamloops on my touring roster.

With that being, I will once again visit Kamloops August 16-18. (I will officially create advertisements on all my platforms soon)

I don’t know if you noticed but that guy was already on the police radar because of his multiple warrants for different things if you read the report it says the cops knew what they were looking for
