She has continued to commit the exact same crimes whole out on bail.
She has already killed one guy, and shown no remorse.
How could a judge allow her out? This is what brings the justice system into disrepute.

In the US she would be a three strikes winner.

Global…who the FUCK wrote that article? Photo caption contradicts the article.

“explains why” 885E3229-2BF6-4FE7-B64C-AA1002C0D032.jpeg

“no reason was given” B246D6F8-E470-4F44-9803-C31D501EB316.jpeg

How is that an explanation?

While I certainly have no reason to support her, everyone must keep in mind that she, and you, and me, all deserve a fair and impartial trial before all of you can declare her guilty of the charges she is facing. Period.
I'd also like to commend Rumina Daya for being by far the WORST reporter ever employed by Global TV - ranks right up there with CTV's Evan Solomon IMHO.

slights against reporters aside
Are you kidding? Did the guy she kill get a fair shot?
All the others she bilked?
I say get out the torches and pitchforks. Oh wait can't say that as it isn't 'fair'.

She is out on bail for killing somebody and commits more offences while on bail.
Habitual offender, period.
Judge and/or Crown needs to explain or get fired.

The article said - "While the Vancouver case is now over, Kane remains in custody on the Surrey file where she’s facing 20 charges dating back to 2021 including administering a stupefying drug, robbery and extortion."
So, she "remains in custody". I guess her repeating what got her in trouble with the law in the first place has now removed her ability to get bail. And if I understand correctly her doing that makes her have to forgo the 50k.
I wonder if she is giving the cops the source of her drugs . . .

We don’t know, but it might be that one or more the victims were reluctant to provide evidence (privacy concerns) and the likelihood of conviction was poor.

At a minimum the Crown needs to advise why the charges are being stayed. If there’s a good reason, well say it dammit.
Crown has absolute and unreviewable discretion when it comes to staying charges in Canada. Had the *Judge* stayed the charge they would definitely give reasons, but Crown doesn't have that obligation, and can simply email the court registry to say "FYI charge X is stayed, kthxbye" and it's done. Once it's done even a judicial review can't touch it (unstay it)!

According to openly accessible court records she was in court Friday for Uttering Threats and for Public Disturbance. The saga continues, but seems like other jurisdictions across Canada are also looking at pressing charges, so after all her legal matters are dealt with in BC she will be facing the other charges elsewhere. She’ll likely be in for a while.
