I was sound asleep this morning when I heard a crash and a bang in my bed room, this was a little after 5 in the morning. Since I have both cat and a puppy I've tried to puppy and cat proof my place. You know keeping things "of interest" to the puppy out of reach of her maw and making sure their is nothing for the cat to knock down to the puppy. Both of my pets were interested in something on the floor, which is never a good thing. What they were interested in was a bird on the floor, in my bedroom, playing keep away from both of my pets. Grabbed a box, put the bird in the box, got dressed and drove to the emergency vet clinic, took my pup with me so she could smell new things, back and forth it took about 20 minutes.

I got home, I opened the door of my car to grab her leash. I had my hand in the loop of her leash when my pup she took off like a shot, her leash slipping through my fingers like water .What I didn't know was that there was fawn in the bushes about 12 ft away having breakfast. My pup was fast, so was the fawn both of them were out of sight in a blink, and I mean in a blink. I didn't even have time to turn and see which way they went. So I am standing there by my car looking every which way trying to spot my pup, trying to hear anything and nothing. A minute later she comes loping around the corner of a street down the block from me, very happy. She then runs to my neighbors house and plops her butt in front of her door, waiting for her to open the door.

I'm hoping my Sunday gets less busy

lol, :D I guess we know who is feeding the pup boring old dry dog food and who is feeding the pup nice, delicious "human food" :D
lol yeah it's me that feeds the pup the good stuff, she gets absolutely no food form the neighbor. Maybe I am sooo boring.

I guess the fawn was on the lamb.
