its out there,
they have linked the rise in social media the popularity of cell phones and social apps to the destruction of well mental health
there is a direct relationship to suicide etc and the advancement of social media

I think they are trying to make the connection to with all these mass shootings going on, nut cases now can always find another nut case to share
there stories with and get support

im just curious your thoughts
and maybe your thoughts about this forum specifically

not so much lately but there has been talk about white nights and trolls
I once started a thread are you afraid to speak your mind on these boards

anyway I will leave it there, and await anyone's comments
its timely for me, suicides seen quite prevalent among the people I know
and mental health has always been an interest to me.

My opinion is it's a platform for the masses. I mean who honestly knew someone who believes the earth was flat until social media evolved into what it's become today. Good in a sense that go fund me pages are created during times of crisis ,bad in the sense that people can spread such hatred and bullying nearly anonymously.

Flat Earthers, who knew they were real?
It is surprising how many really stupid and angry people there are.
The internet gives them echo chambers to reinforce their idiocy.
Anti vaxxers, chemtrail nuts, they disregard mountains of scientific papers and listen to high school dropouts.
