Thanks, so if the INCALL place is the actual residential area of the SP is it safe? Will LE usually wait outside or will they charge into her house/condo to catch you? Has there been any cases of individual arrests of SPs hosting incalls at their own home?
Q? Has there been any cases of individual arrests of SPs hosting incalls at their own home?
I have
never heard of this happening in BC.
You don't have much to worry about, probably absolutely nothing. Only if there are illegal immigrants, or underage girls involved or if the house is known by police (that is if the neighbors are all aware of what is going on or if it is a crack house etc) will the police be watching outside. Unlike the US, LE doesn't do sting operations using CL or busting sp's who make a deal inside their own hotel room with a john like I see on many US Vice shows. The latter situation never happens here in Canada simply because it is perfectly legal to discuss money for sex in one's own home or residence (that includes hotel room). And no, LE won't charge into the house. They need a warrant here, and a warrant for this time of offence is very difficult to get. And again, if it is prostitution between 2 consenting adults in someone's home, that is not a crime and therefore no warrant - even LE knows better. The only offence is a bawdy house (and that should be very difficult to prove).
Also, the prostitution laws here are criminal code laws (meaning federal), so it is the same law for the whole country. Whereas in the US, different states can have different criminal laws.
I watch the new everyday for years. I have never heard of LE busting into people's hotel rooms or even at their own home. Never. The only busts I have heard are street sting operations and busting of massage parlors, where there were usually illegal chinese girls forced over their will. This is even very rare. As for the bawdy house or brothel charge, there are licensed massage parlors all over the city (and the city gets thousands of dollars in licence fees for every parlor) and the police never go in, unless there reports of illegal girls or underage girls. The only ever charge was several years ago, I believe in Ontario or Quebec where a domanatrix was openly advertizing her services at her home. She got charged for the bawdy house (not prostitution) but I think on appeal the charges were thrown out. I can't remember, that must have been almost 10 years ago.
Don't worry you will be fine.
