I never really liked Coldplay anyway so thank god I'm safe in that regard!
I don't know about iOS other than minor dabbling but most Android apps can allow location only when on. Google can have location off even for a period of time that you set- of course a lot of apps no longer work when you do that but if you are on the stick you turn it back on when convenient. I shut off Location History when I set up my google account, and leave it off. So my phone is pretty much secure to the typical users prying eyes trying to find out where I might have been.
Chatted recently with a guy I've known for years had to fire a 25+ year employee who was fucking the company. Got the guy's computer and phone and had the lawyers go through them. iphone16, all the usual hoopla on it, the lawyers spooky dudes in IT turned the phone's contents into a full on searchable data base within an hour of having it in their hands. Texts, whatsapp messages, facetime history, passwords, the whole shitteree. Learning moment for me. These guys can crack any normal phone if they want to, seemingly with little effort.
So if you are careful and as long as your SO isn't a cracker jack techie detective type, I say enjoy the pooning.
