Personally, I always prefer print. Read at my leisure, don't have to dig up earphones, etc...

Some video news sites have video that is slow loading, ad filled, and error prone.

Any "news" article that I click on that turns out to be just video is quickly clicked past. Print is far more efficient -- and you don't have to wait for the advertisement to finish. If I really want to find a video on some news topic, I will look for it.

But then again, I never watch TV news either, because I don't have the patience for it.

Plus, like the other people above, I actually learned to read when I was a child. Are there any studies that show basic literacy levels are dropping in our society? I wonder...I may have to exercise those skills and this newfangle google thingy and try to find out.
