Unbelievable that someone can be so ignorant.
As a father of a teenage girl, whom I've spent a lot of time throughout her formative years, making sure she doesn't think success and happiness isn't being a certain size or shape, I find this very offensive.
It might be (and I said might) an appropriate comment if we were talking about them having someone who is obese because of poor lifestyle habits but we are not. We are taking about a beautiful woman with a very sexy full, womanly figure.
If we are talking about "healthy lifestyles" maybe she should speak out against the rampant use of diet pills, caffeine, drug use, alcoholism that plagues the modelling industry as well as the thousands of young women who are hospitalized or die every year from eating disorders perpetuated by an industry that tries to make them all feel to be attractive, they should be 110 lbs and a size 0.

She should be the poster child for the saying "Beauty fades but Stupid is forever."

But they put a plus size women I there magazine .purely for business reasons..
They will sell prob 50% more magazine and there advertisers and the swim suite business will up there sales sustansully.

I don't think over wight is healthy ..and there is a large in crease in women with heart disease. .and other wight related illnesses.

Over wight in its self us an illness..often an addiction. And other times an image problem

When you see an all ready very over eight person I'm a restraunt or fast food place ..order 2 burgers .. a Fri ..large drink .and then a big shake and another rap for desert..you know she has a problem
No selves restraint.

"Your waist should be smaller than 35 (inches). That's what (TV medic) Dr. Oz said and I'm sticking to it."

^That right there completely blows her credibility. Dr. Fucking Oz??? Really??!!! If having fuller figured women glorifies poor health, then what do we say about skinny chicks with eating disorders that are more often the norm in the modelling biz? Fuck you Cheryl Tiegs.

....and what of the rampant illnesses springing up from eating disorders of those who are 'thin' ..... fertility issues, anorexia, bulimia.....liver failure... throat/esophageal cancers/polyps.....kidneys malfunction, respiratory disorders... hair loss... finger/toenails fall apart.... stress to the heart..... and there are tons more, but you get the idea...
granted, cholesterol and heart issues.. blood pressure are issues an overweight person deals with.. but there are far more complications and actual illnesses related directly to being too thin than over the other end ;)

there are two sides to every coin.. no matter what coin you look at... in my line of work, I see many more 'thin' folk dealing with health issues than overweight.. and I am sorry, but this Ashely woman is absolutely freaking Haaaaawt.. not even close to 'obese'.......

as a professional in the sex world and in the therapy world (grin).. I have been a size 7 (36C/23/36, and I am 5'9".....) and a size 14 (44DD/37/42....) and get told all the time, despite what my own image of my body may/not be.. that I am an incredibly sexy, sensual woman......
and I see all sorts of bodies, in all sorts of states.. and only a few are 'unhealthy' due to eating the crap you talked about .... ;)

and yeah... 'doktor Oz' hahahahahaahahahhahahaha<THUD! OWFARK!>hahahahahahahahaha oh hell no! ;)

....<clawz retracted>

There are still many cultures out there that believe a bigger lady is a true lady. Being a BBW chaser myself, it's no surprise I find this complaint shallow and...just down right stupid really. Size and health and beauty do not always go together. You can be skinny and sickly and ugly, skinny and beautiful but sickly, you can be bigger and healthy and beautiful, or bigger but ugly...you can be many different combinations. And for most of us who chase after BBWs, I think can agree that, just big alone doesn't cut it- the "beautiful" is in there for a reason. Also, when it's all said and done, one model bad mouthing another model- that kills any credibility right there. I think in the end, no matter you're big or small, tall or short, as long as you take care of what you're given, you can be healthy and beautiful.

FWIW I was a really fat kid in elementary and got bullied a lot. We had awful eating habits at home and my parents were professionals and sedentary.
If your kids are fat get them into taekwondo or crossfit, whatever it takes.
My favourite type of lady now is athletic, not dainty, excessively feminine, or unfit.
