Some police departments in the USA do this. Doesn't seem right. The photos actually go onto the net before a conviction. From the arrest, to the net. These guys don't even get the chance to see a judge before the police department splashes their faces on the net for the world to see. Shouldn't they at least have the chance to defend themselves?

You have to remember. Chicago and Detroit are a black majority population. We are still pretty redneck out west. Well, I'm not, and a lot of perbies aren't. But we haven't got as nearly as a diverse culture as the east.

Detroit has a large inner city black population. Chicago's black population however, is mostly concentrated on the south side, flowing over into Indiana. Chicago's inner city demographics also include a strong mix of hard-working Italian, German, Polish, and other European cultures. So blacks are not that prevalent. The northwest part along the lake is more affluent, but overall, the mix is more balanced than Detroit. Further east in Gary, Indiana, there are significantly more blacks. Blacks in fact were a major contributor to the industrialization of these regions, bringing needed cheap labour, as they migrated north to escape the problems of the south, as well as being attracted to the economic revival following the Great Depression.

If the list is expanded to thirty days, you'll see a lot more whites...

Actually, I would dispute this S2H. B.C. is a lot more diverse with Asian immigration. We have a much, much larger proportion of Chinese, Japanese, Philipino, etc. compared to the east.
