I'm envious!!

From what I've gathered in the short period of time I've been on this forum, the majority of the SP's and hobbyists that contribute here are from BC and surrounding areas. Try living in bumfuck Saskatchewan where a provider may breeze through once in a blue moon and stay for one day! Can't say I blame them as I doubt it is very lucrative for them to stay any longer. Makes it difficult to set anything up as my schedule won't line up or I have to exercise caution as I know a good number of hotel GM's and people in general where I live and not knowing where they are staying causes me to not call at all because of their necessary precautions regarding their lodging. Going to a neighboring larger center has worked for me but once again, disappearing for six hours for no reason isn't an easy thing to do. This is in no way shape or form a plea to SPs to divulge where they are staying, it's just at times, unfortunate that I am so well known in my community and having to walk through a hotel lobby and risk being spotted deters me more often than not.
Those that reside in the larger centers, feel fortunate, I am truly green with envy!

Well even if you do live in a small town you always run into people you know in a big town.
I live on Vancouver Island, approx. 1.5 hour drive from Victoria.
I have seen a few local SP's over the years & even taken a few to the Movies, Lingerie shopping at an Adult store, etc.
Yeh, movies are always risky for running into people you know, especially if it is a popular movie. But the last time I took 2 SP's shopping to a local Adult Store, while they where trying on outfits, I just happen to look over & there is a very good friend on mines Son doing some shopping.
I do not believe he saw me & if he did, I was only chatting with one of the SP's anyways.
No matter how big the world is, it is still small.

Yep, the six degrees of separation for sure. I was maybe referring more to the convenience of the ability to go to a private residence more so than a public place like a hotel which many have lounges and restaurants that locals frequent. I did the hotel thing once and "lucky" for me, I don't believe I was seen. I, unfortunately have to twist the world and align the planets in my favor to ensure discretion, a lot of work on my part that I wish I didn't have to do.

Yes, I do agree, we have it pretty convenient, although I still have to come up with a reason as to where I went for 5 to 6 hours.

Slapshot, I understand your feelings. I travel quite often and there are times where I am away from Vancouver months at a time. There was one time I was in Edmonton for close to two months and, when looking for options, I found they were way more expensive than Vancouver's. And that is when I was just looking for an R&T. Even then, little information was found on-line before jumping in. Either that or I wasn't looking in the correct places. Then again, I am certain people in Vancouver will look and might be saying the same about Toronto, Montreal or Quebec...
