ID screening

Has anyone undergone ID screening with a provider? What info do you redact on your ID? Say a drivers license.
I have an SP insisting on ID screening.

Depends on the SP. Some will explicitly ask for a fully visible ID with nothing blurred out. For me, the name and date of birth are most important while I don't need the home address or ID number.

An ID selfie may be requested or simply preferable as well:
