I am Apalled with the City of Vancouver and VANOC for their etiquette lesson

I was watching the 11:00 CTV National News last night and the City of Vancouver did a special on how Vancouverites should dress and act during the games to impress the out of towners. I am flabbergasted that they would sink that low to make a public announcement regarding our dress attire and etiquette.

I hope Vancouverites don't RIOT if the Men's hockey team loses in the finals on a suspect call.

VANCOCK is a disgrace...

the Winter Olympics are a farce...

and Vancouver is a second rate village in a constant state of penis envy...

I am looking forward to the media propaganda blitz...

you know, where the intrepid reporters from various media interview people from other countries and ask them questions like "what do you think of our beautiful city"...

"oh we think Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities we have ever visited and Canadians are such lovely people...

and we don't think any city has done a better job hosting the Olympics...

the lovely people of Vancouver have every right to feel special..."

blah, blah, blah...

when does baseball spring training start:cool:...

At they didn't set up an Etiquette Police like the Chinese did in Bejing.

in this backwater sports town, something like that is a legitimate concern...

not to mention the booing of another country's anthem...

I doubt you have to worry about that. Most Vancouverites can't afford tickets to the game anyway and those that can are probably the ones those that can't would love to lynch for sticking us with this mess.

Sadly I can imagine a lot of Vancouverites booing during all American anthems. Yup, Vanclassless.

anybody who lives in this city and can't afford tickets should pack their bags and leave...

and don't let the door hit them on the way out...

the reason tickets are so expensive is we are so beautiful and desireable...

and now if you excuse me, I have to take my Yorkie for a walk and grab my Starbucks latte...

And an amasing job market...all these great jobs for $9 to $13 an hr on CL...part time...

Oh, and did you meet my neighbour Ben?...He is a professional bottle collector and part time paper delivery man...He hopes to go back to BCIT in the Fall and get his "tickets" to insulate pipes for $16 hr, if he can find a job...

Oh, and did you meet my other neighbour...Mong Pong? He cleans food fairs and works part time at WalMart. He is likely moving back to Vietnam, since his standard of living if much higher there, and he doesn't have to continue to Learn English...

lol, I always wondered how people afford living there. Everytime I check salary surveys, BC is usually on the mid to lower end of the average.
