How Fit Are You? Walking Up the Stairs for a Booking

This might sound familiar. I’ve run into it a few times over the years, but at a booking this week, all the elevators at a popular incall were out of service. That meant climbing 15 flights of stairs. I was carrying things, which added some weight to the steps, and definitely broke a sweat by the time I reached the door.

Realistically, I’d say 20 flights would be my upper limit; beyond that, the energy spent and your headspace might not feel quite as fresh when you arrive.

I’ve heard of people hiking up to the 30th floor, and one even close to the 60th (well done). Still, many chose to cancel and not bother, which honestly really sucks for the SPs.

It’s an inconvenience for everyone involved, including residents I saw hauling groceries and delivery folks making their rounds. The reality is that not everyone is fit enough, or willing to tackle that many flights, or will be late for their bookings.

So where do you draw the line?
How many floors would you tolerate walking up for a booking before deciding to cancel: none, 10, 20, 30, or 40+?

20 floors would be my limit, 30 if she's extra hot.

And I would expect a discount or an add on for my inconvenience.

I'd probably walk up 7 floors max.

This situation is generally beyond the control of the Shop/SP/Indy and so it's usually our call if we decide to walk up or walk away.

I know it would not be the SP's fault but having a bit of slack with the session starting time would be appreciated if it would ever happen.
A slack in starting time would be nice as it can take 5-15 minutes to walk up, depending on the number of flights, and the bookings are kept.

Easy Peesy. I was concerned if the floor I needed to be on had a locked door though.
When all the elevators are out of service, property management will typically put a wedge on each of the exit door per floor.

Is that 6461, tbh all the newer high-rises (anything built after 2018) are all in extremely poor qualities, like experiencing problems never ever expected or imagined before. (Heating/ac syst issue, washroom flooding, etc) This is mainly due to construction teams and contractor are primarily south asians nowadays, who tend to hire random workers from overseas, and use extremely cheap raw materials

I had to walk down 50 flights of stairs leaving a providers place recently (bc of power outage) and it seemed like it took forever and my legs were rubber at the end, so going upstairs? 20 flights if they're the hottest provider alive, otherwise we're rebooking lol.

One of my best experiences with an SP was after a trek up. I had a 45 flight walk up but I was the last one so it didn't matter much.

If the start time is going to include the time I walked up, over 5 flights, we're rebooking.

Walking up the stairs will give you a good butt !
I suppose if you do this on a daily basis, it becomes second nature, much like riding a bike, and helps to tone and firm your glutes along the way.

35 as long as door is not lockedk
35, 45 & 50 flights are pretty ambitious, especially before a horizontal workout..sweats on top of sweats. :ROFLMAO:

I hope they added the time it took you to get up the unit, cuz if not that's some BS.
Currently, I dunno if I could do 10+ flights, without getting very winded. I've been so outta shape recently.
After going to gym + snowboard season for a bit could I probably do 20-25+ and still "perform" well.
But depends on the girl tbh.

somebody has put chairs every 5th or so floors as a pit stop, lol.
also messages of encouragement, humour, etc. taped to every door, makes the hike less arduous.

That’s hilarious. I wonder if they do it all the way up to the 60th floor. :ROFLMAO:
Would any pooner really be brave enough to sit there, completely in plain sight.

Dude I think I know which building you're talking about now haha.

I had a booking today and when it was time to buzzed up, Brosan told me the elevators where down and I had walk to up 15th floors. I didn't mind, but I got lucky and one elevator was working so I hopped a ride.

But funniest thing happened towards the end of my booking. A guy was seeing the girl's roommate and man he was pissed.

"This is BS!"
"You wasted my time walking up here!"
"I wasted 15 mins walking up here" (how slowly do you walk dude....)
"It's my first time *something something*"
"I need a discount!"

Honestly I felt bad for girl cuz it wasn't her fault. She really tried her best calm the client.

But me and the other girl were just trying so hard not burst out laughing :ROFLMAO:
