I've used this site to screen some girls. I thought I'd write a post...

My buddies and I have been going to Hollywood North (karaoke Bar) pretty regularly for the past year or so. I have a soft spot for Japanese girls, as I used to live there. One of my old co-workers actually married a Japanese girl working a HN. I've been out on a few dates with a couple of the girls, but nothing much came of it. Has anybody ever hooked up with any of the HN girls? I have a sneaking suspicion at least some of the girls work as SP's on the side, but most of the "Japanese" girls on ERS seem like fakes. Does anyone know if the HN girls moonlight on the side? Is HN the only hostess bar in the GVRD area? If there are others; what are they?

I have been there once with a Japanese-speaking caucasian guy - I highly, highly doubt that these girls moonlight. As you know if you lived there, working in a hostess bar in Tokyo does not mean that you are a prostitute.

HN is the only hostess bar in Vancouver that I am aware of.

Karaoke bar with hostess is more like Chinese culture called, KTV, so I'm not quite sure if they are all Japanese.
In Japan, we have more like, a bar with a number of hostesss and there is usually one karaoke machine... As supposed to there is a bunch of little private rooms where you can have hostesses.

I will be more than happy to be your company, though, as you can guess from my name, I'm tone deaf, so no karaoke for me.

sadly, many people who suffer from tone deafness still blame their choice of song and refuse to acknowledge that they are unable to successfully karaoke

yes back in the late 90's and early 2000's , there were girls that that hostessed and spent time with you and if enough money was offered in a discreet way , they would hook up with you , new management changes have derailed that , but in richmond there definitely are drinking places where girls will sit and drink with you and if there is a connection something can be worked out , but quality can be a issue

Been there a few times...the place is a bit of a dump and I don't like the owner. The girls don't Moonlight as SP's...

Thanks for the replies. I'm aware that hostesses don't normally moonlight. I just figured with all the micros in the city, someone would cross over...

I know of Miso in South Burnaby and OB's in Burnaby on Kingsway. There is signs they are private korean run hostess bars. My buddies and I decided to pop our heads in OB's after eating Sushi in the restaurant above the bar. They had cameras and bars. Some lady from a window told us they were closed. It's a shame too cause we're all low keys guys with good jobs. We like to enjoy ourselves.

Back many years ago, there's a awesome hostesses bar on alberni st called tokyo lounge. although the hostess dont do moonlight there, but once you know the girls well, they are easy to hook up! when tokyo lounge closed down, one of the owner opened a same style hostess lounge near clark dr and 1st ave. (kinda ghetto tho.) but havent been there for ages, so dunno if the lounge still survives?

Well Miso was just torn down so never mind checking that place out. I heard there was a lounge on Kingsway & Nanaimo across from the Pho Hoa, but I've passed by and haven't seen anything. There has to be more hostess bars. PM me if you know of any...

My buddies and I were DT 2 weeks ago and stopped into HN. The talent was horrible, so we didn't stay long.
