Holy Shit!! Roses in Abby BUSTED !!

A while back I did a 411 on Roses to see why they were closed.

For any of you out in the Valley the local rag The Mission Times has it on
the front page.
Apparently the Abby cops did an undercover sting, on four separate
occasions they were offered sexual favours in exchange for money.

I wonder how many of them excepted for reasons of
collecting evidence!!

It states in the paper the sting was put in motion because of customer
complaints that they were offered sexual favours when they just went
in for a massage!.........Yah Right ........

The co-owner a Ted Olsen from Vancouver says he doesn't plan to appeal
city hall's decision of pulling their license.

Yah sorry to be the bearer of bad news Eljudo!

Sure wasn't the answer I wanted Bella, but you know shit happens.

Even though there room rates were a bit high it was a great little place
to go in for a bit of "relaxation" on a whim.

I believe they grandfather those licences for six months so if someone
has the where with all it shouldn't be a problem to re-open it.

Under a new name of course!

Can't say I am surprised by this. I've been expecting it for a while - Abbotsford is not known as the buckle of the bible belt for nothing.

I do find the timing interesting...makes me pretty suspicious the old new mayor (Ferguson - 80+ years old - back in after losing the last election) had a hand in having it shut down since he is definitely an old school politician who believes in pandering to the religious....

It was precisely because I expected it to be busted that I didn't frequent it. I am only surprised that it lasted this long.
