Hi Anna, there's a good trail that goes up the side of Stave Lake out
in the whonnock area, it's an old railway line that was used in the days
of steam locomotives. Camping nearby is available at Rolley lake.
Too get to the hiking trail which is layed out and prepped by the Ministry
of whatever the hell it's called, go east out Lougheed hwy past Maple
Ridge and just before you get to the Stave River hang a left on Wilson Rd.
a couple of clicks up the road you'll see the signs for parking at this
popular trail which by hiking terms is an easy hike for the novice.
A few more clicks up the road you'll come to Dewdney Trunk, turn right and follow the signs to Rolley lake Provincial Park.
Hope this helps you out sweety!
