Ok, and?
What is your point?
Are you proud because you fit the description?
Really, what is the purpose of this post?
Are you blowing your own horn because you perceive yourself as intelligent so you don’t hit women and now you have received your affirmation?
Here’s a little secret, “intelligent” people have always known this.

And what is the point of your post? To prove you're not intelligent. Duly noted.

High intelligence doesn’t determine character, and doesn’t account for societal conditioning or what resources are readily available to the man for relational skill building. While cognitive ability may play a role in how men manage conflict and commitment, it’s one of many aspects that will.

There’s a lot of brilliant men, in one regard or another, who engage in those harmful behaviors.
Not everyone who has the knowledge, intelligence, power and control uses it responsibly. 🤷‍♀️

Intelligent abusers know how to structure their abuse so it's not obvious to the victim that they are being abused. They can also recognize patterns and behaviors and therefore know how to mask and manipulate situations to their advantage.

Also, most women don't look for intelligence in a man anyways...

Even the ones who say they do, really just mean they don't want a man who is "dumb". If a man can get through a book on his own without using his fingers to trace every word or ask what a word means more than a couple times, and can do basic math in his head, he's met the criteria for being "intelligent".

I was genuinely curious as to what your point was. You posted a link and an excerpt from said post. It’s interesting but not really “news”. It’s click bait assembled by the dude that owns the site, quoting other people’s research to support his opinions. Good for him, he wrote an article.
The question is, by posting it here, what are you trying to communicate by posting it? Are you posting it because you found it interesting and thought you’d share? Nothing wrong with that. It would just be good to know if you’re actually trying to make a point or if you believe it to be helpful to parrot another person’s opinion.

Nah, nothing against other men, but everyone thinks they're intelligent. Nobody will admit to being average, or an imbecile. So when a woman says she wants an "intelligent man", the bar is objectively very low, because they themselves are probably average/below average and have no other point of reference for intelligence. For example, many people struggle with financial literacy when it's all just basic literacy, numeracy, and problem solving... it's not hard to figure out when you're getting screwed on a car loan.

Not putting myself on a pedestal here. I consider myself firmly "above average", but it's like being a D2 athlete playing rec league ball and dominating... not exactly an accomplishment and still complete dog shit compared to the pros.
