Help with Windows 2000

Can anyone help me get rid of "evidence" on windows 2000. Theres so many places where shit gets left on puter for prying eyes "or someone accidenttly" stumbling upon sites that one wants to keep to themselves.
How do i delete all the stuff so no one can find it, websites etc.

There are many ways to do it but can't you just format your hard drive and re-install the entire operation system? It's easier that way.

I need to do it weekly , or daily. Every time one goes on here , or EC there is some shit left somewhere.. Gotta be a easy way to get rid of some of the trail.

you need to use something like this:

if you simply delete or even 'format' the drive, the stuff is still there
and can be reconstructed (not easy, but it can be done).

You're just trying to get rid of the browser history?

Are you using Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, or Safari?

You want to remove history, cookies, cache, and temporary internet files?

Firefox is easy, Tools->Clear Private Data.

Look in C:\Documents and Settings\$username\Local Settings

Delete the files in
C:\Documents and Settings\$username\Local Settings\History
C:\Documents and Settings\$username\Local Settings\Temp
C:\Documents and Settings\$username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

That's just some suggestions off the top of my head.

What I normally do is have a secret install of Opera to use that uses a setting for no personal info saved.

Crap Cleaner works and can also clean up software uninstalls, registry errors, etc.

Make sure that you go to tools, cookies and add your banking cookie and any others that you really don't want to have erased to the keep list.

After that just hit run after you exit the sites you don't want people to know about and all evidence is gone.
