Help with the new search

Any tips and tricks for using the new search function? I liked how the old search (say for the last four digits of a phone number) showed all the threads containing that term from newest to oldest. Now it just shows a bunch of posts, based on (I’m guessing) relevancy of the search term. Is there a way to have the search output look similar to the old way? Or at least hve it sorted chronologically, even if it shows posts instead of threads.

I also notice that. When doing a search select "advanced" then select order by "Date" I wish that could be made as default for the quick search.

Plus side is you can search 3 letters now
