re. shoveling, I will admit to "glowing" after an hour or so of moving snow. Trails for the dog, and the mail-carrier arriving tuesday... hey, she gives the 'ol girl treats. the dog not me, I pick up the bills.

I just missed all the snow in Winnipeg. I was there for a week and came back Saturday, before all the stuff hit!

A snowy Winnipeg Tale... lol
I was picking up my friend for dinner, looking for a place to park. I drive a small car so this happens a lot in the winter. I actually was halfway into an intersection...
I turned off the car, walked away and called a tow truck.
In an hour they were there, I go out to meet him and turn the car on, and 2 people stopped in 5 mins to get me out.
The tow truck driver says to one guy..."Do you believe she called me for this?"
I said " It's free for me, and I look too good to be digging out my own car..."
He laughs. (He didn't notice the shovel in my back seat either... ) I parked it near there and I still have to go and get it.
I had a good chuckle about it a few times already...

So, how much snow did the 'Peg get yesterday? Things were pretty clear when I left Saturday morning. Roads were pretty good as well; some packed snow/ice between Brandon & just inside the Sask border.
