Has anyone seen "A Very Long Engagement"?

... or "Un long dimanche de fiançailles"? It has Audrey Tautou in it (got to love her!)

I was thinking of going to see either this or "Sideways".

Any recomendations?

Sideways is a must see! Just bring a bottle of wine when you go...preferably a pinot noir and definately not merlot.

Audrey Tatou is in Engagement, so that & Sideways are on my must-see list.
Tonight on DVD I'm seeing her in Dirty Pretty Things. She also was great in He Loves Me He Love Me Not.

I saw it and loved it...I'm a huge Amilee fan and this movie was as good as Amilee....I'd see it again....it was Awesome

Decided to see Sideways

It was great! It was as witty and inteligent as all the reviews said it was.

I also found it interesting that they showed the service sub-culture in the wine hospitality industry. A friend dated a wine pourer (I think thay are actually called Hospitality Associates) for a while and they always knew about all the best parties in the wine country. These were the parties all the working staff at the wineries went to. They all lived like paupers, but they always had a few bottles of really killer wine they were willing to crack open & share.

I guess this sub-culture develops at ski resorts, beach resorts and to some extent the restaurant industry. But in the wine country they always have access to all this low volume, limited release or no release wine.

I think I'll go to see "Engagement" tomorrow or maybe "Hotel Rwanda"
