Researchers estimate that a twenty-minute visit to the tanning booth is equivalent to spending a day at the beach. And contrary to most claims, there is no truth in getting a "base tan" in protecting against future sunburns.

Tanning & Spray Tanning

Done both, no problem, especially like the stand up type. Go totally nude and let the boys get a little tan too, just watch things don't get to toasty, lol.

You'll end up with roasted nuts and I don't mean chestnuts roasting on a fire at Christmas time either!

As for spray tanning, I even managed to do it right, not like Ross on Friends.

Really? Works for me, especially before a trip to the tropics. I have a tendency to burn like a bug under a magnifying glass. The fake'n'bake helps a lot, as long as I started out slowly (like 5 minutes) and increase the exposure until the maximum is reached.

And someone is wondering if tanning is gay? If you have to ask...

The first time I went to Supreme they had tanning bed's. In fact after my session I went and spent a couple of minutes in one of them. That was a lot of years ago and they have come a long way. Back then you had to go down the hall to the shower. I think it was a Jennifer and a Julie I saw but could be mistaken.

Back to the original question, I have to agree with Wolfie. I start out slow and work my way up and it seem's to prevent the burns.

Guys that go to tanning salons regularly for the sake of having a tan...flaming gay, if not gay, then at least having qualities more appropriate to women than to men!

I shave my nuts and tan, does that make my a flaming homo? Who really cares, as long as one feels comfortable with themselves does it really matter what the few odd people say about them? Call me what you want, I'm far from gay so who cares. Does that mean people who get hair cuts,massages or workout are also gay because they look after themselves? To each their own.
