If I am wrong about something, I can certainly accept that but you have to tell me what I am wrong about and why. I never said anything about if they were tortured or not.
What I have discussed is about how they should be classified as POW or some BS called "enemy combatant"? What rights do they have as POW and how it is dangrous for our own soldiers, if we do not respect international treaties for war.

I also said that your idea that we can just call some one spy and execute them has no basis in law and there are cases regarding this matters.
During WWII, a group of Germans tried to over throw the goverment of Adolf Hitler, they were captured, convicted in German courts and were executed. Their case was looked by allies after the war and it was decided that judeges, prosecutors and army officers has done nothing wrong because it was a lawful court and accroding to German law that decided to execute these people.

On the otherside, army comanders who decided to just put the so called spies or partisans agianst the wall and shoot them were considerd war criminals and are still wanted by different goverments if they are found.
What I am suggesting is that WE HAVE TO RESPECT THE LAW AND INTERNATIONAL TREATIES SIGNED BY US and do you think I am wrong?

first jfk the first geneva convention was signed pre ww2 with add ons after the war but ill play but first you have to answer what gov. since 1949 had followed the geneva convention that we have been in conflict with? the answer is not one. as a viet nam vet i knew that if captured by the nva or vc i was toast. But wait where was the hue and cry about the torture of our service men oddly the world was silent including the international red cross. well no they werent silent, like jane fonda they were telling the world what a wonderful job the north was doing concerning our pows.

Do you mean we should not care about Geneva convention or international law?
Goverment should do anything it likes with prisoners?
