Gift Cards for Payments?

Ok, I’ve read other posts and warnings are there to not fall for this scam if the provider is asking for gift cards in payments.
Usually if asking in advance then major red flag.
However, ton LL 3 identical ads but different girls asking for gift cards but will accept in person. Reason for not accepting cash is because they say it’s unsafe and can get robbed. Weak reason honestly as I don’t know what they wouldn’t get robbed with other monetary values.
.Personally I’m not falling for it because one, they are not verified on LL and don’t show up on any searches here.
Are there reputable providers doing the same?

So yeah dumb question but curious what this board thinks? Love your honest and brutal feedback.

Ya I'm starting to see lots of card( rip off ) request too. I'm finding it very difficult to find a real SP who accually want to provide full service. I need suggestions

Most likely a scam. The ones who say they will take the payment in person would probably end up demanding you send the numbers before buzzing you in. You send, they ghost you, the end. Not unheard of for verified ads to pull this too so keep that in mind too. Lots of threads on this topic.
