General Question about New Accounts

How long does it take after someone signs on to this board for posting privileges to be granted?

Obviously, I am able to post but I've invited some people I know to join the board and while they have been able to establish accounts, they still can't post threads or replies.

Probably depends on when you catch them and how busy they are. It was just a day or so for me.
