Tried one....total piece of crap. From the gitgo I had to fix the fixmestick before I could get it to run properly. When it did got through it's paces the difference in the operation of my PC was nothing that was noticeable. Get in touch with customer support and I get pages of links...try this, try that.... a crap shoot hoping something will work. On top of that I keep getting message that I haven't run my scan this month which generally includes a message about buying McAfee.

Anybody have anything positive to say about the product...if you use it that is ?
Other recommendations for something that provides the same service but actually works.

Cheers.

Unc, sounds like you bought a U-Fix-It stick!

I have come to the conclusion that it is simplest and sanest for me to have a two-computer strategy. A laptop for social use and business where I just don’t surf porn or download anything risky, and an expendable computer with no personal info, email, social media, contacts, etc. on it whatsoever, but with a plethora of vpn, firewall, anti-malware solutions installed. I call it my bareback laptop and condomized tablet strategy. Working well so far. Kinda like having a disposable pooning phone strategy. Lol.

Been using them for years on multiple computers. Never had an issue with them, and they have detected and isolated malware and viruses.

Not that keen on their emails, but it's part of marketing for most companies now.

They're easy to ignore.

Been using Fixme for several years always worked very well laptop or desktop. I have noticed with this years edition that sometimes a problem starting up after message computer will shut down and start up--What I have done is to run factory up grade then it works fine--Hope this helps--Might add I
am pretty much a Computer Dummy so I need easy solutions.

Something like the problem I'm having....get the message...go to factory upgrade....run the upgrade....starts to re-image the computer...and then it shuts down and tells me to go to factory upgrade...????? Customer service sends me links to use to get through this"problem" and it always ends up with...get factory upgrade....but can never get the upgrade completed.???? Customer service just keeps sending link after link..none of which work....finally told them to Fuck off.
