Am thinking about getting one around xmas time as I/we are spending a small fortune at the local Starbucks. Soooooo I am looking for opinions about the diff machines on the market. Any help you guys can toss my way is appreciated......

buddy of mine has had a saeco for about 6 years, it's pretty good, he got it at starbucks for over a grand. it's the automatic one where you only need to add water to the hopper and dump out grinds every once in a while, and froth your own milk, other than that, it grinds taps and brews for you.

Just had a look on Amazon.com at that machine, they want $1,099.00 for it. Plus taxes and shipping and exchange. So no deals there,

If you don't mind used...... there are restaurant wholesalers who take over retaurants when they of business, they buy the stuff cheap, and offer at at big discounts to reselt it.
You could even call the manufacture and ask them, some times they have demo's or they may know of someone wanting to sell one as they don't use it anymore, etc etc etc...
You can ask a coffee shop or any restaurant owner, they may know of suppliers that have deals, heck they may even get it for you, and sell it to you cheaper than the regular price......
