If you are wondering why all the medic people are bowing: in less than an hour, two small children in the next room are able to live thanks to the little girl's kidney and liver.

holy shit, those pics hit hard in the soft spot. I couldnt ever imagine or ever wish to be in that position. for those with children, no matter how much a headache they may give you, cherish them, it could be alot worse.

There is no compassion present where there is a lack of soul. Another sad testament to the realities of our lives.

I couldn't help but notice that not even one woman on this site commented on this thread.

incalculable heartbreak.....and also heroism,as two small children will be saved by someone they will never meet.

Heroes come in all sizes... I have a hard time dealing with people who are against Organ Donation. Makes me sick...
When I die, carve me up & use whatever you need - I ain't gonna need it where I am going...

When I first saw these pictures, as I scrolled down the page, I found the first two photos did not affect me as much as the last. The last photo however along with the caption, in one very touching gesture, a room full of strangers acknowledged a dying little girl, as a human being, honoring her for the sacrifice she was about to make.

Our local hospitals should blow-up these photos and put them on display at their entrances, as a reminder to the staff that not all patients are just a number.
