so i was banned for two weeks first time in the 4 years i used perb. ive spent a few thousand dollers on advertising here over the years, i always assummed it was good money spent. since i stopped running ads here i havnt seen any difference in calls...we re still busy and with all the other great free sites out there, im wondering should i spend my dollers at perb?

Then don't, say for a period of three months. I am sure you can always come back and advertise?

If you don't advertise, you run the risk of customer attrition. There will always be the customers you have, who, after a steady diet of your stuff, wander off to try other stuff at your competitors. You need to replace this loss. Advertising is a way of letting new folks know about you, and thereby open the door to these guys trying your service out.

Also, if some of the regular customers are finding the same old, same old a bit stale, then advertising is a way of letting them know a new meal has arrived for them to taste... maybe like Michelle, of whom I just saw a photo on your website... yummy!

Literally that depends on the focus of who spends their money on
paid advertisers. That goes without saying of course but with so
many places to advertise from and free as well it makes me wonder
if the effort in this day and age is really worth it.

Or if you wish, once you get your name out there and have that
initial exposure like the OP said, is it still worth it?

Who knows, but people still advertise here for a good reason
I guess.
