I often hear from people up your way about how teriible the traffic is and how hard it is to find parking.

Just to add fuel to the fire, Vancouver city council has resently approved an increase to metered parking rates. Wonderful, NOT.

Oh, and they are also contemplating installing meters in previously free zones.

What are we spending the hundreds of millions on the RAV line for then? In any case, local traffic can't be any worse than the 880 in the Bay area right?

Hopefully Canada line's ridership projections will be met and more & more peeps will get herded onto public transit.
