Try and find the time to vote tomorrow before or after (or during?) your appointments.
It should be a beautifully clear day tomorrow so no excuses, and you could vote pretty much anywhere in the city, not just in your own neighbourhood.
If you haven't been following the issues in your city, a good place to start would be the various party websites to see what their platform is.
In Vancouver, there are eleven slates running candidates for various positions: Cedar Party, Coalition of Progressive Electors, Green,Hotel Workers United Local 40,IDEA, NPA, One City Vancouver, Stop Party, Public Education Project, Vancouver 1st, and Vision Vancouver.
Twenty-seven public offices are up for grabs: one mayor, 10 city councillors, seven park commissioners, and nine school trustees.

There are interesting races going on in Surrey and Richmond too.
