You could always buy a good quality wig, that way you could appeal to both the long hair and short hair lovers. Personally I like both.That's it, I'm cutting my hair!

You know what's funny? After I posted this a client of mine emailed me and told me he didn't even KNOW I had long hair lol Shows you how often I wear it down when I'm working

You can donate hair for wigs for cancer patients but you need at least 8+ inches of hair.

It can be a very liberating experience, one I have done several times over the course of my adult life
You might loose a few clients, but if its any consolation, I did quite well with a shaved head a few years ago

Actually I had thought of that but my hair is dyed and apparently it has to be au natural unfortunately
