A close friend has moved over seas and was quoted 2 prices for flying out. The choices were two days apart the first being Thursday at $350 and Saturday at $580. He was forced to take the second option because he needed more time.
Now I have looked on expedia.ca, been to a few local travel agencies, and was quoted prices not even in the same ballpark. I have tried contacting him and I have to wait for a response to find out who he dealt with exactly.
He had mentioned his flight could have been even cheaper if he were to just show up at the airport in hopes of a last minute cancelation but that only works if you have time (usually not an option with 9-5ers with job commitments)
I am not planning to visit until after Christmas but it would be great to know ahead of time what options are available.
