What a surprise, BJhunter was conspicuously absent during the entire Canucks playoff run (especially while they swept the Blues... hmm, what's that about?), and the second they get knocked out, he suddenly appears out of the woodwork to gloat. What, too scared to come on perb while the Canucks were still in the game? I may disagree with Hunsperger more often than not, but at least he had the balls to stick to his guns during the 1st & 2nd round, instead of hiding in the bushes somewhere and waiting for them to go down before daring to show his face... Pathetic.

I couldn't agree more with this thread. Where was BJHunter when the Canucks won the division? Where was he during first round? Oh yeah, he was hiding. Now that the Canucks are eliminated he finally comes out. What a pussy.

Bottom line - the team lost and lost in a way that was the opposite from the first round sweep. They gave up leads in each game they lost. They got out-worked and out-coached and the "franchise" goalie choked. Take a step back. Outside of game 3 - it was not that close as the Hawks could have easily won game 1. Those are the facts so don't bring up crap like "but Luongo played well against St Louis" or "Sedins did better than Thornton this year".

Canucklehead fans should learn to deal with another disappointing season. They had Sundin the Savior, the Sedins in a motivated contract year, a healthy Luongo, a healthy defense (not Salo), and home ice advantage.
