The favourite moans of Canucks fans are, "the refs/league are against us" or "We never get the calls."
Well, holy shit has that gone up in flames this season. In virtually every game the calls sees to go the Canucks' way.
Including tonight's, "I really meant to blow the whistle, even though I indicated a goal" idiocy from the ref.
This also brings up another nit pick with the league - "video reviews and coach's challenges." There are just too many, they take too long and the human element of a linesman making a call is taken away. If a missed call is obvious and gets over-turned that's one thing, but a micro-second or micro-centimeter play getting a goal waived off just seems too surgical and reliant on technology.
