Calgary vs. Edmonton, which is better?

Which has better bodyrub studios, Calgary or Edmonton? I hear the bylaws in Edmonton are more lax and Calgary is more strict when it comes to what parlours can provide. There is a place in Calgary I visited, Club Yelena, where the girl was not very outgoing about explaining prices and services. By contrast, Edmonton girls are usually provacatively dressed and more open and friendly.

What is Club Yelena like? Like Edmonton parlors? Or are Calgary and Edmonton different worlds when it comes to bodyrub?

Born and raised in Calgary this is a tough one to choke back. With the exception of a few gems Edmonton is lightyears ahead of Calgary. Over the last year or so Calgary's pooning scene seems to be focusing more on an impressive lineup of independants.

Calgary's MP scene is the worst out of any major Canadian City (500000plus pop)...I have pooned accross Canada anhd must say I have never seen a more ugly, fat, old, and expensive collection of women in any other major Canadian city.

Just go to three MPs here and three in Edmonton check out the women...You will see how dire the Calgary scene really is!!!! Even Kelowna (Garden of Eden) has way better women in the mP scene!!!!

EDMONTON !!! I agree with Biggdee about the rest of Canada, Edmonton is better, no contest... I live in Calgary, 2-3 good incall girls tops. Overpriced as well...

In both Toronto and Calgary, you're better off skipping the MPs and stick with escorts. E-town is the opposite...a smorgasboard of MPs but not many escorts to choose from.

I was in Vancouver 2 weeks ago and in Edmonton as I write this. Guys,

CALGARY IS THE WORST MAJOR CITY IN CANADA FOR THE HOBBY...

In General, very high prices, poor service, limited selection of girls.

Edmonton, Vancouver, and even Kelowna is much better!!!!

That being said, there are not a lot of young, good looking women in Calgary period. Just went out last night in Edmonton and hooked up for free at a nightclub here. Maybe I'll try Tatalina at Prestige Massage today or tonite and post a review tomorrow under Edmonton.

My advice guys...take the two hour drive to Edmonton or the cheap flight to Van....Don't waste your time in Calgary.

I agree with Bigdee, and I will say this again and I hope all you working girls are listening. You are overpriced compared to other cities. PERIOD!

You are going to lose more and more to visiting MP's form other cities that may charge the same but are much better in LOOKS, SERVICE, and ATTITUDE.

Some of you are OK in all three but you charge too much and/or are "OutCall" only..

Not entirely the SPs fault, guys. The Cowtown authorities seem more hellbent on repressing any SP activity, licensed or otherwise. And plus (Red Mile tittie-flashing notwithstanding) it does seem to be a more conservative city than others in Canada.

Another difference between Alberta and B.C. is I think in Edmonton all SPs have to be licensed? Is this correct?

Cause in Vancouver no licenses are required of the masseuses. The business needs a license, but not the individual ladies.

Edmonton is different?

Another difference is that in Edmonton all the places I visited had massage tables.

In Vancouver the ones downtown, Madame Cleos, Lavanda, Platinum Club and The Swedish Touch, are allowed beds in the rooms. I was told that this is not really legal. Any info on this?

In Edmonton, each MPA needs a $60/yr license...much cheaper than an escort license, which is something like $1000/yr. Not sure about Calgary.

A lic in Calgary is only $250.00. There are some hoops you have to go through, but it is not impossible to obtain. The fewer SPs around in this town...the easier for the Calgary Gestapo to harass them.

Despite the efforts of the CPS, there will always be SPs and private deals being made. I have made a few myself at nightclubs. They can't stop it. In fact the more they try, the more I want the trade here to succeed. I don't like anyone trying to impose their "values" on me...

Edmonton is waaaaaaay better than Calgary. I personally stay away from the Calgary scene myself. I agree with big dee's advice, book a flight to Vancouver or Victoria or take the 3 hr drive up highway 2 to Edmonton. Some first class MP's and top notch ladies in Ed town.

Okay, here's the problem I have, and probably explains why the SPs can charge so much for so little...

Any money you save on the SP in other cities is more than spent going to Vancouver or Edmonton. It's like spending $5 in gas to drive to a gas station across town to save $1.

The Edmonton thing fascinates me, but do I really feel like driving for 6 hours for a proper 1-hour meeting?

I will be in Edmonton on business (with many others from work) April 15-17, so do I bother on Sunday the 17th when everyone returns to Calgary? I will be in my own car, so does it make sense to check out of the hotel Sunday before noon and see anyone Sunday afternoon before driving back to Calgary?

Any good ones on Sunday afternoons?
