I was in Calgary last weekend and decided to get into some of the available action. I called an escort agency and asked for a hard body 20 to 25 year old, blond, and very fit.
I got a woman in her early 30's, not what I would call in any way attactive, and skin hanging around her mid section.
I would not have had sex with this woman for free, never mind pay almost $300 for an hour. What the hell I thought, You pays your money and you take your chances and got into it the best way that I could.
So, I decide to take in the street action.
The first night I just cruised 3 rd Ave just west of China town and looked at what was avialable.
On the second night I went downtown about 10:00 pm. There where two women on one corner and I approached one and asked her rate. She said that she would not answer that, as she did not know if I was LE or not and did not want to get busted, BUT, that for 100 dollars, she would give me a "good time". Is that not the same as solicitation anyway?
I found that to be too ambiguous, so left for a bit, then aproached another and got exactly the same answer. I left.
Then this very pretty woman, just my type, come on the scene.
She got in the car, and gave me exactly the same response.
By this time, my curiosity got the better of me, and I gave her the $100 she asked for so I could have "A Good Time".
She takes the money, and puts it down her bra. I knew I was in trouble right from that point on.
Then she says $600 for an hour. I says, it is $280 an hour at the agencies, why would I pay you double. She says, that is the going rate. And, that as my hotel was 10 minutes away, it started from that moment and ended when we got back. So, it would have been 35 to 40 minutes, not an hour.
So I said "You said I would have a good time, what do it get for $100?" She says "A hand job in the car".
By then I lost interest in her. I told her to get out of the car.
So in effect I paid $100 to find out I had to pay another $500 for about 1/2 an hour.
In all the times I was in Victoria I never had this happen. I am not going to say I got ripped off, because I new something was wrong from the get go an gave her the money up front.
The example I will give is this. In Victoria, all the women I visited had the air of being courtesans, not all them where equally as good as others, but most had that air about them. They where professionals, treated there clients with respect, and gave the service promised for the time negotiated.
In Calgary, all that I had contact with had the air of being whores.
In effect I spent $400 for next to nothing, and in Victoria I would have had two great hours with gourgous woman who enjoy their craft.
Lesson learned, back to Victoria.
